As you all are well aware, many of our departments on the eastern seaboard were hit by Hurricane Sandy. While we don’t yet know the full extent of the damages to our members, we know that there will be a need for financial assistance.  We’re asking all departments, districts and posts to send a monetary donation earmarked for the Sandy fund.  Any money received will be used for this purpose and should there be a surplus, it will be held in reserve for future disasters as was done with the Katrina fund.
