District 5 POW/MIA REMEMBRANCE

The Dept of NH District #5 VFW and Ladies Auxiliary will host our annual POW-MIA Remembrance on Sunday, September 23th, 2012 starting @ 11:00 AM on the Common in Fitzwilliam.

This ceremony is open to the public, all veterans and their families.  It will be a remberance for our lost comrades.  All are welcome.  Please try to attend and not let our POW-MIA’s be forgotten.  Only through you are they remembered.  Remember what they have lost so we can be here today.

Representatives from the Dept of NH VFW and Ladies Auxiliary, local Veterans Organizations and other representatives will also be in attendance. The opening ceremonies will include the “Posting of Colors”, the National Anthem and Invocation.

There will be a reading of New Hampshire’s POW-MIA’s, as well as readings offered as a tribute to our “Fallen Heroes” who have gone before.

After the closing ceremonies, there will be a reception held at Fitzwilliam VFW Post #10289. All are welcome to join us there in celebration and remberance.
