DEPARTMENT OF NEW HAMPSHIRE FUND RAISING PROGRAM

The Department of New Hampshire of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States has contracted with Landmark Production Company (LPC) a fund raising organization to solicit contributions in the state of New Hampshire.  Funds raised during this campaign will be used to provide care packages for our troops,  and provide funds for community activities such as scholarship programs for High School and Middle School students,  In addition funds raised will be used to support Veterans and Families in getting help in areas such as the VA Disability and Pension claims process and supporting Veterans in VA Hospitals and at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton NH.

In 2013-14, the Department of New Hampshire VFW organization donated over $49,000 in support of the Governor’s Commission on PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury, Liberty House for homeless veterans, the New Hampshire Veterans Home, the Daughters of the American Revolution’s memorial walkway at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, the Red Cross’ Operation Appreciation, Socks for Soldiers, MooreMart packages to the Troops, Harbor Homes Stand-down for homeless veterans, Wings & Hooves Therapeutic Riding veterans project.  In addition, we helped our own state’s veterans, many of them from the most recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, with grants of over $41,000 in critical financial support during periods of family crisis, the transition to civilian life, and the start of their new careers.
